My name is Dhani Oks, your neighbour on Brookside Ave.
I hope you, your family and friends are doing well. In an effort to help support our community and celebrate our resilience, I’m starting a photography project to tell the story of our wonderful neighbourhood.
I am a photographer & multimedia producer who’s worked with many great organizations such as Vice Media, Canon, lululemon, Roots, Virgin Unite, ScotiaBank, TD Bank and the Toronto District School Board on creative & social impact projects.
In the spirit of social distancing, I’m offering to shoot family and individual portraits outside your homes while I stand on the sidewalk.
There’s no charge for the photos, which will be emailed to you. I’m also happy to make you a Print in exchange for a small donation to Feed it Forward, a local organization that is helping feed people in need during this challenging time. $25 feeds a family in need for a day. $100 feeds a family for a week.
